Holshouser’s squeezebox action knows many trajectories. A chamber meditation here, a cartoon ditty there—walking myriad paths simultaneously is part of the fun. No wonder he’s fallen in with the bad boys from Holland. Drummer Bennink gives everything around him a hotfoot. Clarinetist Moore is a master of supple and provocative lines. They’ve been sniffing out prospective teammates ever since their Clusone Trio went kaput; evidently the accordionist was profound and pliable enough to grab the gig. He definitely knows about the properties of three; his Singing to a Bee is a minor jewel.
