The New Amsterdam Market Returns This Sunday, Butchers and Beer in Tow

The New Amsterdam Market will make its now monthly appearance at the South Street Seaport this Sunday, the 25th. In addition to its usual vendors, who will sell everything from pickles to poultry, the market is holding a 3 p.m. pig butchering demonstration with Tom Mylan and Joshua Applestone and a regional ale-sampling with Beer Table’s Justin Philips. The meat demo is free, though ringside tickets cost $35; tickets for both that and the beer event can be found here.
