Chocolate Coming to Ninth Avenue in November


Tipsy Parson, which opened this weekend in Chelsea, is going to get a new neighbor on Ninth Avenue: one block up from the restaurant, near 20th Street, a storefront purporting to sell “artisanal” chocolate, pastries, and beverages, is preparing to open its doors. Although the neighborhood isn’t lacking for desserts, artisanal or otherwise — Chelsea Market is five blocks south, and Le Bergamot is practically across the street — it will no doubt tempt more than a few roving sweet tooths.
