Ten years ago, while studying at Martha Graham’s dance academy, Dinky started making waves in NYC’s techno underground; then she moved to Berlin and hit it big alongside fellow Chileans Villalobos, Luciano, and Jorge Gonzales. She’s since mixed a Cocoon CD, served as a Panoramabar resident, and harnessed analog and acoustic sounds to create a formidable body of techno and house. Her latest album, the nuanced, almost gentle Anemik (on Wagon Repair) proves her skills. With Big Bully, Clint Stewart, and Taylan; RSVP required at email@example.com.
