Most comics would kill for the kind of early success the 26-year-old comedian Aziz Ansari has had. This year, the comedic oddball of MTV’s Human Giant landed a role opposite Amy Poehler on The Office spin-off Parks and Recreation and scored his own Comedy Central special—and it has also been rumored that Judd Apatow may turn his egotistical Funny People character “Raaaaaaaandy” into a movie. Tonight, Ansari, who now lives in L.A., returns to his alma mater, NYU, to perform stand-up (expect Randy to make a guest appearance). Joining him is SNL writer and all-around funnyman John Mulaney, who released his comedy album The Top Part earlier this year.
