Drink for Gowanus

The controversy surrounding the proposed clean-up of the Gowanus Canal may be far from over, but tonight the Gowanus Canal Conservancy is providing a less complicated opportunity to show support for the beleaguered waterway. It’s holding its second annual Fall Beer Tasting, led by Six Point Ales’s Jeff Gorlechen and Bark Hot Dogs‘s Josh Sharkey, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will be held at 320 President Street, and information about its $99.99 tickets can be found on its website.
