The Ladies Man

by

Dir. Jerry Lewis (1961).
Jerry Lewis confounded the sophomore jinx with his second directorial outing—like The Bellboy, The Ladies Man is episodic and neo-classical in harking back to the silent comedy. There are pratfalls aplenty but the real star is the four-story, 60-room set Lewis built as the arena for his antics.
