Wait, What? Eater’s Ben Leventhal Is Opening a Restaurant

It’s inside baseball, but interesting enough to pass along: Eater founder Ben Leventhal is switching things up and opening a restaurant. The establishment, at 170 Mercer, will be a collaboration between Leventhal and Charles owner Cobi Levy, and Grub Street reports that the chef will be a Morimoto Philadelphia and Sushi Yasuda alum. Meanwhile, will Leventhal keep his many other jobs? (Eater editor-at-large, managing editor, and collaborator.)
