Zenkichi Celebrates Three Years, Eyes Manhattan Expansion

by

Zenkichi, the labyrinthine Japanese brasserie in Williamsburg, is getting ready to celebrate its three-year anniversary this month. And what better way to ring in a new year than to expand? Owner Shaul Margulies says he and wife Motoko Watanabe are “extremely close” to signing a lease on a space in Soho and are already aiming to drum up support from residents in the neighborhood.
