Petite Crevette chef-owner Neil Ganic reportedly went nuts on a couple who were unhappy with their lobster. The couple says he came running out of the kitchen brandishing a live lobster, threw it on their table, then banned them for life.

Health-care reform is apparently making some restaurateurs nervous. Marc Murphy, chef-owner of Anvil Group, which operates Landmarc and Ditch Plains, complained that paid sick leave would hurt his business and may force him to close one of his smaller restaurants.

Google staffers were treated to lunch by David Chang recently. There was flank steak ssam with kimchi, Brussels sprouts with fish sauce, and Korean-style fried chicken. The company’s cafeteria regularly hosts guest chefs, including the Times‘ Mark Bittman.

L.A.’s Animal chef Jon Shook recently said that, while he would “love to work with someone as respected as Drew Nieporent,” he and partner Vinny Dotolo had no plans to open a restaurant with him in New York.
