Empty seat struggle on the D train leads to death

The daily ballet of personal space issues on public transportation triggered a fatal stabbing on the D train yesterday.

According to police, the not-yet-identified victim refused to move his bag from the seat next to him. Sadly, the man who asked for the seat, according to the News, settled the argument by stabbing the seated man to death.

The assailant, also unidentified, was trapped in the car until police arrived by a vigilant conductor.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
