A subway motorwoman who tackled a threatening lunatic last October on the 1 train could actually lose her job, the Post reports this morning.
How could Adeline Bayne-Goody get railroaded? She left her post, according to MTA documents examined by the tabloid’s Tom Namako and Kirsten Fleming.
She’s on suspension as her case wends it way through the MTA disciplinary process. The next time I go nuts on a train and start threatening fellow passengers, I hope Bayne-Goody is there to tackle me.
By the way, don’t confuse the lunatic stopped by Bayne-Goody with the lunatic who wasn’t stopped and fatally slashed a fellow rider last month.
