Park Slope Food Co-op Story Inspired Some Guy to Make T-Shirts

Because nothing really exists without a product tie-in these days, an enterprising Brooklyn blogger been making T-shirts inspired by “the invisible mark of shame felt by the author of [the] ridiculous NYT essay on the Park Slope Coop.” The shirts include “Doing a Makeup at the Coop,” “On Alert at the Coop,” and “Suspended at the Coop,” and carry a $5 commission that goes to a local hunger-relief charity. No word yet if “I Used My Coop Savings to Buy This Self-Referential $19 T-Shirt” is on its way.
