This late night after-party for night three of the Disco Biscuits’ five-night Nokia run is a great chance to see Los Angeles avant-rap beat blender Daedelus without having to be exposed to a jam band. Daed has wore many hats—the avant-rap producer behind 2003’s monumentally slept-on The Weather, the lush electronic soundscapist of 2004’s Of Snowdonia, or even sensitive psych-poptronic wonderkid on this year’s collabo with his wife, The Long Lost. But he always manages to deftly chop and mutate beats at their squishiest. With Two Fresh.
