New York

Playing what they have vaguely dubbed “new American music,” Soulfarm consists of four New York musicians from different ethnic backgrounds, each of whom plays up his roots musically for the good of the whole (like America, get it?). These styles include elements of rock, Latin, Hebrew and Celtic folk music; over the past decade or so, their jammy, r&b-inflected jams have appealed to the likes of Perry Farrell and Dispatch, who have each collaborated with the group. With the Moshav Band and Reality Addiction.
