Give credit to one of dance music’s earliest disco editors; Greg Wilson’s career stretches back decades. Originally a fan of jazz-funk in the mid-’70s,, Wilson had switched onto electro by the early ’80s and proceeded to turn fellow Brits onto it as well, culminating in the first DJ residency at Madchester’s Haçienda club. 24-hour party people also know that since returning to DJing in 2003, Wilson spins a heady mix of electro, disco, house, funk and all other sorts of dance floor sublimity, often deploying his Revox reel-to-reels to maximum effect.
