An AvroKO-designed space might be too chi-chi for tiki, but Diner’s Journal reports that indeed, a “decisively inauthentic” Polynesian restaurant is coming to the former Porcao location, complete with tiki drinks and pu-pu platters, in an AvroKO-made room.
The place comes courtesy of Michael Stillman and Craig Koketsu, of Park Avenue Winter (and Spring, Summer, and Fall) and Quality Meats. Aside from the pu-pu platters (yes), the menu will also include ribs and Hawaiian poke. No word on specific cocktails right now.
