Cops say an 18-year-old woman expressed some confusion in the subway in The Bronx on Friday, and Michael Flores, 40, of Staten Island, playing the gentleman (and also a police officer, which he is not), stepped up to assist her. They travelled by train together to her destination, 125th and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, and Flores convinced her to come with him to the Robert Wagner projects over by First Avenue. There, cops say, he took her to the 16th floor and became forceful, telling her to undress. The young woman pushed him away and ran to the roof; Flores fled.
Police picked up Flores yesterday and have charged him with attempted rape, kidnapping, unlawful Imprisonment, and impersonation of a police officer.
