Tombs+Rosetta+City Of Ships

by

Tombs are the leading lights of Brooklyn underground metal thanks to their excellent debut LP released last year on Relapse, full of Jesu-style heartworm sludge, heaven-gazing bashers, and a crusty attitude that keeps them anchored to the sticky, beer-soaked floors of club shows. Speaking of, tonight’s gig is a monster, featuring a few other bands with new twists on the good ol’ Neurosis riff-riff-and-repeat formula: Philly’s shoegazey slowpoke screamers Rosetta, the anthemic City of Ships, and the seriously ugly doomsters Battlefields.
