In a terse and otherwise completely unremarkable interview with the News Observer, David Chang offered one very sweet morsel to the North Carolina paper: There’s going to be a Milk Bar cookbook.
Here’s what Chang said:
Q: Are there any plans for a Milk Bar cookbook?
Yes. [Pastry chef] Christina Tosi is working on it as we speak.
So, not much. But still enough to encourage the fantasy of turning one’s kitchen into a crack pie factory, which seems almost as dangerous as transforming one’s basement into a meth lab.
