Today is a blessed day for pizza fanatics, lovers of storied New York cultural institutions, and pretty much anybody who’s ever found themselves on Neptune Avenue. Almost a year after a fire closed it down, Totonno’s is once again open for business.
Earlier this afternoon, Slice’s Adam Kuban visited the 86-year-old pizzeria, and found both it and pizzaiolo Lawrence Ciminieri in fine form. Kuban documented his visit on video; the place looks pretty much the same as it did before the fire, save for a new coat of paint.
