Matt Dillon — Was That Him At Charlotte Ronson?

by

Designer Charlotte Ronson hasn’t let her prestigious pedigree stop her from riding the easy wave through the fashion industry. For the past three seasons now, we’ve noticed the young talent establish her line, solidifying her shows with an enthusiastic following, making her a Fashion Week favorite. Ronson’s show Friday night in Bryant Park brought out real showstoppers, and by that we mean celebs with talent! So, we bet you’re really dying to know who was in attendance–fine we’ll tell you.

Ronson’s celeb fan base is extending from the Lohan’s of the world to a more refined clientele like that of Matt Dillon. Just across from Dillon who was rocking a hoodie, by the way, was actor Justin Theroux in a punkish leather jacket. And the whole old school vibe was working well with Samantha Ronson’s musical blend of classic ’70s rock, who DJs her sister’s fashion shows giving it a more party atmosphere than anything else.

“The City’s” Whitney Port, in short beige shorts and loose-fitting stockings, and Samantha Swetra were also in attendance. Other lovely birds making the scene was Ali Hilfiger, Akeelah and the Bee‘s Keke Palmer, Solange Knowles, Mark Indelicato from “Ugly Betty”, and Ronson’s sister, model Annabelle who always walks the runway at Charlotte’s shows.

We’ve noticed Ronson’s line for the past three seasons evolve from tween girlie wear to what we saw last night and that was real sophistication. The beauty in Ronson’s eye for style is that she has never drifted from her strong spirited self–successfully evolving her brand. Ronson’s sense of complexity was showcased beautifully with a combination of feminine flirtation and harder tone of individuality as she did with a flowy, pleated, long, fuchsia skirt and army jacket. Looking forward to next season!
