GO GREEN

If you’re not familiar with the name Tom Green, then you probably have no idea what the “Bum Bum Song” is all about. Nor do you know that this Canadian funnyman (and rapper!) was once an MTV sensation 10 years ago with the Tom Green Show, a variety show that spawned from his public-access program in which he regularly goofed on his sidekick, Glenn; had Monica Lewinsky on as his guest star while she pimped her handbag line; and almost married Drew Barrymore on live TV when he hosted Saturday Night Live. (Side note: He did end up marrying her and then divorcing.) Yeah, Tom Green has done a lot—he’s even a cancer survivor! So, show the man some respect when he brings his bizarre stand-up to Comix for a three-night run.
