Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas

by

Dir. Henry Selick (1993).
This imaginative and more than slightly nutty stop-motion animation feature centers on the decision of the inhabitants of Halloween Town to celebrate Christmas. It’s a family flick that most kids of all ages with probably enjoy—it’s visually splendid, with a lively musical score and characters that look like refugees from Ed Gorey’s sketchbook.
