Beer has a way of making everything better. Especially a good meal. Chef Antonio Prontelli will prepare a four-course menu to be paired with a selection of seasonal Goose Island craft brews. The menu will feature crispy pork belly to go with a Juliet Belgian-style ale, crispy duck confit with Pere Jacques Belgian-style ale, and a chocolate soufflé paired with Bourbon County Brand Stout.

Spanish wine is a hot as ever these days, and the Ribera del Duero is one of the regions to know. It grows the grape variety Tempranillo (yes, like that other Spanish wine region you’ve heard of), but does so at one of the highest altitudes of any wine region in Europe. Sample more than 90 classic and boutique wines from the Ribera, and you might even get a glimpse of the much coveted Vega Sicilia, the region’s icon wine.

This Sunday, members of the Just Food CSA will get to rub elbows with farmers from around the city for a day of workshops, discussion, and good food. Learn how the CSA movement has evolved over the past 15 years, and how it’s impacted regional farmers and city dwellers (read: you!).
