Brooklyn sexagenarian Loren Connors has a 30-year track record of making wild blues mutations, majestic noise, and airy folk drifts; his sparring partner, Alan Licht, provides labels such as Siltbreeze with heartbreaking minimalist hums. Kindred spirit in six-string abuse Lee Ranaldo plays in a little band called Sonic Youth.
