Prog rock’s double-clutching precision smashes headlong into the jam-band clan’s never-ending now. This Chicago sextet boasts a bottomless vocabulary of riffs they fit together on the fly into Lego-like structures of architectonic scope yet somehow polish to a Steely Dan sheen.
