Taxi Share-a-Ride Debut Cancelled Due to Snow; Also, 1000+ Flights

School’s out today because of the snow, and so is the share-a-ride taxi program that was supposed to begin today at selected pick-up and drop-off points between Grand Central and 72nd Street. The pilot program, offering flat rates for multiple riders, will start Wednesday instead.

Also canceled today: More than one thousand flights in and out of the city.

Some people are busy, though. As we heard a guy shoveling walks for cash on our block say, “I know one thing. No one can complain that no one can’t make no money. ‘Cause today is the day that everybody can make some.”
