Seems like just yesterday that Little Boots (aka Victoria Hesketh) was just some random girl with eye make-up, a blonde braid-crown, and a bad wizard T-shirt standing outside the old Knitting Factory after an awkward daytime CMJ show. But nearly a year and a half later, Little’s getting pretty big. On her brand-new full-length Hands, she worked with Gaga’s man RedOne, dueted with Human League frontman Philip Oake, and conspired with Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard. She’s also coming to town this Tuesday for a tour kick-off at the Highline Ballroom that, according to the “nerd diva” herself, “promises to unveil a great many costumes at the Highline, along with an ‘amazing’ light show and arrangements she describes as ’99 percent live.'” We’re giving away a pair of free tickets to Tuesday’s show; just send an e-mail with “Little Boots” in the headline to cdoderoatvillagevoicedotcom by 4:30pm EST today and one winner will be picked at random. Gentle reminder: there will be no laser harp.
