They began, as all high-profile indie-rock reunions must, in New Zealand, rocking out to “In the Mouth a Desert,” which I’m sure was cathartic.. This dude has most of the set list; this dude breaks it down by album. “Fight This Generation” tends to be particularly violent live, so that’s good. As previously mentioned, these dudes are predictably, hilarious nonchalant about this whole thing — it means more to you than to them. Who knows, when they finally slouch into Central Park a solid half-year from now (their increasingly crowded slate of tour dates is here), who knows whether they’ll be fine-tuned or just bored. Maybe both. Probably.
