The New LCD Soundsystem Record Still Has No Title, But Does Have a Release Date

by

It’s May 18th–just in time to dominate the summer. As our pal Ryan Dombal confirmed in an interview yesterday with LCD frontman James Murphy, the album will run to 65 minutes over nine songs; the singles currently in the balance are the ying and yang of “Drunk Girls”–“about drunk people and fun things and the fact that all of the boys of the L.A. mansion we recorded at were called ‘the girls’ by our chef” (?!)– and “Change.” Oh, and turns out that name of that LA mansion most of the record was recorded in is “The Manshun”–go figure.
