In celebration of International Women’s Day, the ladies of LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) are hosting their second Cocktail Tweetup, with $5 from each $30 ticket going toward Dress for Success, an organization that provides career development services and interview clothing to low-income women.

Zagat Presents: Guided Aphrodisiac Tasting Dinner

Join Pranna owner Payal Sharma and Joyce Weinberg of City Food Tours, a self-proclaimed aphrodisiac expert, for an evening of aphrodisiac-infused, Southeast Asian-inspired dishes and cocktails. The $60 three-course meal includes Alluring Avocado Dip with Naan, Chochee Curry, and Chocolate Molten Lava Cake with Spiced Ice Cream.

Hakubai Restaurant at the Kitano New York Hotel
Through March 12

To celebrate a newly redesigned restaurant, Hakubai is hosting a sake pairing featuring Akira Sake from the Kanazawa Daichi organic farm in Japan. Sake sommelier Chizuko Niikawa will lead the $30 tasting. Expect Ika Syuto Ae (squid marinated in bonito liver), Alaskan King Crab Kani Miso Ae (marinated in crab brain), and Tako Wakame Kyurisu (octopus marinated in rice vinegar).
