Not from England (and a few dozen players short of a philharmonic), Atlanta’s Manchester Orchestra sound like every current, major-label, indie-rock act rolled into one: Modest Mouse, Death Cab, Built to Spill, you know the drill. On the bright side, there are solid tunes and a singer uncowed by the prospect of a sore throat. Modern-rock journeymen Biffy Clyro do actually hail from the U.K. and command a loyal audience there to prove it; here they’re better known as Biffy What Now? With the Features and O’ Brother.
