Never Mind The Bollocks, There Goes Malcolm McLaren

by

A maddening genius, a calculated pixie, a man who turned rage into dollars, Malcolm McLaren was the managerial brains behind the poetic outbursts of the Sex Pistols, Bow Wow Wow, Adam and the Ants, and other acts of the fashionably angry era.

He was the godfather of punk, a stirring force behind the marketing of anything “outlaw” and anti, with all the accessories to match.

A rebel with a cause, McLaren changed the face and the scowl of music in the ’70s and ’80s and he’ll be remembered for that, not for ending up on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

God save the Queen if even she’s not upset by his passing.
