Earth Day Fundraiser
Eat lunch at the restaurant anytime this week and it will reduce your bill by 15 percent (or 20 percent for late-afternoon lunch) and donate the funds to protecting the Amazon Rainforest via the Union for the Conservation of Nature, one of the oldest and largest global environmental networks around. So, if lunch is $100, you’ll only pay $85 (or $80). Both you and the earth win.
April Harvest Week
New York chefs and foodies get a little overexcited about the arrival of spring. At Telepan, they celebrate with a $75 five-course menu featuring — what else? — ramps, as well as nettles, morels, fiddleheads, and rhubarb. Have sommelier Aaron Von Rock pair each course with an appropriate wine for $135 per person. Yay spring.

Famed restaurateur Zarela Martinez is launching the Mexican Cultural Institute’s new culinary program with a special event featuring food from Toloache’s Julian Medina and cocktails by Junior Merino. The series of cooking classes, lectures, and market tours will explore the rich history of Mexican cuisine through the eyes and kitchens of the city’s best Mexican chefs.
