Nation’s Restaurant News reports that first-quarter traffic at those establishments is way up, demonstrating that consumers are spending money again after staying away for almost two years. Execs at other chains, such as Chipotle, are also reporting gains in customer traffic. See? Fine dining isn’t dead after all.
