If there’s some music hat that Johannsson hasn’t worn, be patient because he’ll soon take it up. His resumè includes labelhead, composer (of very pretty, atmospheric music), producer, and educator, not to mention writer of music for film soundtracks, plays, and installations. He doesn’t just encompass the Icelandic music scene, he may become all of it, at this rate. His new album concerns the rainforest, a rocket scientist, and a crippled physicist, all of which should make John Adams blush (or least get envious).
