It’s called “A Drowning,” it’s seven minutes of moody downtempo dirge-ness in the time-honored NIN filler-track tradition, it does verily feature the smokey vox of Trent’s wife, Mariqueen Maandig, and Pitchfork’s got it. An EP is allegedly out this summer; if you find the phrase “rumored tracklist” amusing/enticing, have at it. Let’s hope there’s a “Wish” lurking in all this somewhere.
