You know that Marina Abramovic staring contest at MOMA that everyone keeps talking about? Or the amazing Tim Burton retrospective that had you waiting in line for hours? Well, none of those fine exhibitions could be possible if it weren’t for the institution’s many proud (and loaded) supporters. Now you can do your part at MOMA’s Party in the Garden, a benefit in the museum’s gorgeous sculpture garden. Tickets for the cocktail hour and supper will cost you $1,000 and up, so if you’re not a Rockefeller, we suggest the much more affordable after-party with Karen O and her Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmate Nick Zinner tearing up the stage. DJs Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter of Mr. Saturday Night keep the dancing going till midnight.
