Democrat spending may irritate the redder states, but it should be a-okay with anyone who waits tables for a living. A new study reveals that those who lean to the left of center, politically speaking, tend to be better tippers than those on the right.
Even on bad service, Democrats were found to leave an extra 10.8 percent compared to Republicans’ 8.7 percent. And when service is good, left-wingers shell out 20 percent, while right-wingers leave just 18 percent. Still, serving a G.O.P.er is better than throwing your vote (and tip) away altogether: independents were found to be the biggest cheapskates of all.
