A Bookworm’s Guide To Drinking

Nothing beats cozying up with your favorite book and drinking a glass of pinot noir. and Housing Works is taking that indulgence with the Literary Pub Crawl and adding a few extra people and several more drinks to the mix. The night of booze and books begins at the Housing Works Bookstore Café with readings from one of our favorite writers, Colson Whitehead (Sag Harbor), Amy King (I’m the Man Who Loves You), and Emily St. John Mandel (Last Night in Montreal). There, you’ll grab a quick bite, a free drink, and then head over to Botanica and Tom and Jerry’s, where you’ll be toasting to the Greats and you’ll finish up the night at another literary staple: KGB Bar.
