Living Colour

After living through one torturous wave of (usually white) rock-rap after another, it’s a relief to have this Gotham quartet return again to show what strongly integrated music should sound like, capping it with their long awaited fifth album. Take your pick about what to savor: Corey Glover’s shouts, Doug Wimbush’s bass thumps, underrated drummer Will Cahoun’s driving beats, or Vernon Reid’s string bending.
