Police Seeking Suspect in Two Brooklyn Assaults


The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect in the forcible touching of two girls in Brooklyn. On June 2, at 5:15 p.m., police responded to the first assault, near Brooklyn Avenue and Kingston Avenue. An unidentified black male in his 20s had approached a 10-year-old white female and picked her up. The victim screamed and the suspect fled.

Ten minutes later, at Maple Street and Kingston Avenue, the suspect walked up to a 13-year-old black female and attempted to grab her by the arm. The victim ran and the suspect fled.

There were no injuries sustained in either incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, and is approximately 5’8″ to 6’0″ tall.
