Joran Van Der Sloot Is Not a Nice Person

I’ve been remiss in not addressing the case of Joran Van Der Sloot, the Dutch party boy who just confessed to killing a young lady, this time a Peruvian lesbian named Stephany Flores.

Five years ago, Joran’s name came up in the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, but the botched Aruban justice never even managed to charge him.

That set him free to hook up with other women and their casino winnings, and he recently certainly started to look like either the biggest psychopath of the modern age or some hapless sad sack with a knack for finding himself in extremely unfortunate situations abroad with a broad.

With the confession, we finally can safely say: “Psycho!”

In any case, my favorite part of the story was this, reported on MSNBC.com:

“Outside [the police station], seven Indian shamans in brightly colored ponchos repeatedly stabbed a cloth doll representing van der Sloot in a ‘spiritual punishment’ ritual. ‘We’re punishing him so that all the forces of evil are purged,’ one shouted.”

Looking forward to some real justice too.
