Saturday afternoon brought the second annual World Naked Bike Ride to New York City. Somehow, riding naked also means protesting BP, because you’re putting “your beautiful body to work against this calamity.” We get the bikes thing, but naked? Well, whatever it takes to get people involved. Most cyclists, by the way, were partially clothed, because nobody likes chafing, even if it is chafing for a good cause.
Per Bowery Boogie, here’s a video of the cyclists heading out at St. Mark’s.
In case you missed it, your next chance to ride in a group of naked-ish people is June 2, 2011. Mark the calendars.
