Let’s play that old Lulu song “To Sir With Love” in the background as we give a heartfelt shout-out to the teacher way-back-when who inspired us the most.
I’ll go with a high school English teacher of mine named Beatrice Rosenbaum.
Bea not only let me have a hand at editing the school newspaper, but she also handpicked me as someone who should make sure to go on to a fine college.
She even made a point of getting me various brochures for quality schools, and partly as a result of her encouragement, I made it into Columbia and had a valuable experience there.
Thank you, Mrs. Rosenbaum!
You saved me from a life of working at Costco!
So which teacher do you kids want to thank?
