Anita Lo Parts Ways With Rickshaw Dumpling

by

Five years after she co-founded Rickshaw Dumpling, Anita Lo has decided not to renew her contract with the company.

Diner’s Journal reports that the chef, who developed and oversaw recipes for Rickshaw, is leaving to spend more time at Annisa, which recently reopened to strong reviews, and to work on a cookbook.

If nothing else, the news will be manna to Midtown Lunchers, who haven’t been shy in expressing their disdain for Rickshaw’s dumplings and prices. Looks like remaining owner Kenny Lao has his work cut out for him.
