For the third year, the room is ferreting out new (or relatively new or kinda new-ish) local talent, as assessed by a shifting panel of industry-ites and voted by the panel and the audiences. Last year’s runner-ups, whittled down from some 60 entrants, were Danielle Grabianowski and Carole J. Bufford, who’ve more than proven themselves worthy in recent months. Winner of the grand prize (a nice, lengthy stint in the room), Liz Lark Brown is still putting her act together. Lennie Watts hosts.
