Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band

Apparently we needed him (and, uh, fed him) plenty when he was 64—at least six years’ worth because tonight, the eldest Beatle celebrates his 70th birthday. Joining him are his irregular cast of “All Starrs,” including Edgar “Frankenstein” Winter and Rick “Hoochie Koo” Derringer, as well as members of Mr. Mister and the Romantics. No matter who he’s playing with, though, there’s no denying that the world’s most famous drummer has a repertoire most stars would envy, ranging from such Beatles classics as “With a Little Help From My Friends” and “Yellow Submarine” to his own “Photograph” and “It Don’t Come Easy.”
