Warning: This event is not for the faint of heart. At 3rd Ward’s Annual Pig Out, guests will have no choice but to look their meal—a 200-pound hog—dead in the eye. Manning the grill is Alex McCrery, from 3rd Ward’s very own trailer turned kitchen/outdoor restaurant Goods. He’ll be serving up tasty pork tacos, served with cole slaw and pickles. You can wash away your guilt with free Fire Island beers. When that runs out, 3rd Ward has plenty of other cheap booze options: Eat some pig, pound some brews, and dance all day to live music from the Fieros, In Cadeo, Le Mood, and the Ramblers.
